We are now offering free informational talks following our monthly tours on the first Thursday evening of each month. The Birth House will be open for tours starting at 6:30pm with the talk beginning at 7:00. Come for just the tour, just the info session, or both!

Our July session is cancelled for the 4th of July holiday weekend. We'll be back in August with an evening on Baby carriers: Slings, Wraps, and Other Things.

Bloomin' Babies Moms Group has a new meeting time! 

We will continue meeting each Thursday, changing the time to 12:30-2:30 pm to accomodate for nap times. Gather at the Birth House. This is a free and open meeting space for moms with babies. Siblings are welcome. A great chance to meet other women and kids in our community and to answer that nagging question: do all kids do this? Also a space to swap clean and useable children's clothing and other items that your kids have outgrown. Come for as long or short as you want, but please arrive by 1:30pm. Call for more information!

Join us for this series of three classes to help pregnant mothers and their partners prepare for life with your new baby:

Breastfeeding Your Baby

            This class will teach you the basics of breastfeeding as well as going over common problems and solutions. You will learn why breastfeeding is important, get information on community and professional breastfeeding resources, and begin to form a support network of other nursing women.

Newborn Care Class

            Learn how to take care of your precious newborn! This class will go over topics such as bathing, eye, ear and nail care, slings and baby wearing, cloth diapering, and an introduction to attachment parenting.

Saturday, May 21st 10:00-12:00

The Fourth Trimester

            In this class, we will address the needs of the mother in the first three months postpartum. Learn how to take care of yourself while taking care of your newborn throughout the day! Topics include sleep and nutrition, exercise, and recognizing postpartum depression. We’ll also go adjusting your relationship as new parents.
